The Women's Premier League (WPL) is back. Bigger and better than ever. The 4th edition of the league is all set to take off on January 9, 2026 with five big teams fighting for the coveted title. The Mumbai Indian's won the 2025 edition beating the Delhi Capitals by 8 runs in the finale and they will be taking on the 2024 champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the season's opener.

The WPL 2026 will be played from January 9, 2026 to February 5, 2026, comprising of 22 matches.

The league will include multiple teams competing in a round-robin format during the group stage. Each team will play against every other team twice. The team leading the points table will directly qualify for the finals. The teams positioned at number two and number three will play the eliminator. The winner of this fixture will play the final.
Venues Hosting WPL 2026
The WPL 2026 will be hosted across two venues. The first eleven games of the campaign will be played at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai and the next eleven at the Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara.

Dr DY Patil Stadium is known for its electrifying atmosphere and has a seating capacity of around 45,300.
